Our firm specializes in the representation of co-ops and condominiums. Our firm initially became involved in this field during the 1980's when many rental buildings were converting to co-op and condo ownership. After the conversion craze ended in the late 1980's, our firm began to represent troubled co-ops and condos and has been fortunate to have been involved with a number of high profile co-ops. These buildings were on the brink of financial disaster but achieved financial stability as a result of negotiated settlements with Sponsor entities and modifications of their underlying mortgages.

 

We currently represent many thriving, financially healthy co-ops and condominiums throughout New York City. We take pride in working with their Boards, Managing Agents and financial professionals to help keep them successful.  We have also been regular contributors to Habitat Magazine on a number of issues affecting the Co-op and Condo communities.
